HORRIBLE SHOPIFY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Shopify customer service has to be the worst I've experienced from a company in years. My last conversation was with a rude employee who's tone was that of "why are you bothering us?!" I strongly recommend you switch platforms to another provider that actually cares about their customers.

We had the same experience a few days ago.

 

We had a legitimate question and needed guidance as to how to solve our problem so that we can use Shopify instead of having to switch platforms...
We got no support, no suggestions of solutions from the support rep. Just the same rude tone of "why are you bothering us". 

 

Step up your service/support game Shopify!

Hi There! Wondering if support is struggling bc of the crisis? I Logged ticket 17116358 and haven't heard anything back, which is unusual-as normally they are super quick -Really need to get this sorted tho so please if you guys can follow up the ticket will be amazing. Thanks

Shopify in general makes it difficult to contact anyone from their team. I've dealt with this poor services for well over a year. And when you do get through you are treated with condescension from a representative. This has nothing to do with Covid, but is a deeper problem with the platform. I'm moving my store to a services that actually cares about their customers and I strongly suggest you and others do the same. Think about, why should we as paying customers be treated to horrible service?

Wow and I thought it was just me . ...I signed up for the 90 day free trial and it expired in 14 days...I tried to call to find out what happened and all I get is a message that leads me in circles and then it hangs up.....I can't start a business with a company where I can't even get a live person....where are you thinking of moving your platform to? I'm new to all of this and need some suggestions please.

right! It has to be the most horrific experience ever and we are paying for it monthly! I just found out that the reason why traffic is so Lowe's because their things are outdated and they have no way to update your theme so they either delete it or cancel it that you're still using it thinking that you're getting traffic from it and it's doing nothing! The built-in SEO is horrific the customer service takes you 45 minutes to verify your identity then you have to email them to get a ticket number and they never get back to you literally they never get back to you and if they do they're extremely unhelpful. Member of the days when you used to be able to call them directly what happened to that? Is anyone else want to join a class action lawsuit with me against Shopify? They really are taking advantage of people trying to be independent business owners. I have literally been getting three people a month. Back in the day I was getting tons of traffic they somehow charges the same amount of money but did something to the theme in the traffic I feel like they're charging us but not actually giving us the product.

THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Run to another provider & don't look back - THEY DON'T CARE.

After a few years being loyal to Shopify the way they show their thanks is to lock me out of my store at the busiest time of year for shopping - Christmas. They ran me through a privacy & security compliance process and 7 days later still no access because at the busiest time of the year they were negligent and didn't plan ahead. COMPLETELY DISGRACEFUL. No response from the Account Team with orders pending and my customer furious because they can't get their orders fulfilled. 

CANCELLING MY SERVICE if I can ever get access to move my inventory.
