Header/Menu to horizonal

How do I change my menu from sidebar to horizontal across the entire header?

What Theme are you using? If the Theme doesn't have provision for this then I suggest to choose another theme as the time & effort needed to create a horizontal header would be sizable.

I have maker theme and I had the horizontal header and it just changed on me out of no where. So I know the theme has the capability but not sure why it changed

You probably changed header style or Theme Style, I suggest you rethread your path on the Customize screen of your theme.
