Hello guys, please help me issue Connecting a domain

I want to connect my existing domain to Shopify, and I am not sure If I can do it since I am having this error, 

 

I do not remember ever creating a store before, perhaps yes, But not sure about it,

Hi @jpetter 

When you visit http://matchateahub.com/ you'll get a Shopify error page.

This means there is indeed a Shopify store connected to that domain.

 

The name of the store is https://matchateahub.myshopify.com/

 

When you try to enter the admin at https://matchateahub.myshopify.com/admin there is a more useful error page:

I'd suggest you do what it says: contact support and try to resolve the issue.

 

Here are the steps to do that:

1. Visit this page https://help.shopify.com/support

You won't get access to a support representative right away, so

I guess you'd have to tell them something like "I'm the owner of http://matchateahub.com/ and https://matchateahub.myshopify.com/, but I don't have access to my store. How could you help me?"

What you want to get out of that interaction:

  • understand why your store is unavailable and have them fix that OR
  • have them detach your domain from that store so that you can use it on your new registration.

What @rsdimitrov has mentioned is correct, it looks like you had an old account with us and the custom domain is still attached to the old account. I can help remove the domain but I'll need to verify proof of ownership with you first. I'm going to email you privately for more info if you could keep an eye on your inbox.
