I want a multi-vendor system where each product is available to my customers through multiple vendors. So that my product screen looks somewhat like this:
What kind of platoform would support this? Would it be possible with shopify? The other multi vendor systems I have checked online offer too much - they create a separate store for each vendor - I don't want that.
I only want a single product to have multiple vendors and that means different prices and call to actions that either lead to an affiliate's store or complete the purchase in my own store.

Shopify does not operate that way by default but you may be able to achieve close to what you are looking for through some customization of the product.liquid templates. This would be a highly non-standard setup and we would be limited in our ability to assist you with implementing and troubleshooting it. You may want to look into working with an Expert (http://experts.shopify.com/designers)
That being said you could potentially build a collection that would contain all versions from different vendors of one product. You could then use alternate product templates for each vendor, so your products would behave as they would traditionally, but for other vendors you could set it up so that the add to cart button says something like "buy" and simply links to the vendors product page.
You can find more info on alternative templates here: http://docs.shopify.com/manual/configuration/store-customization/page-specific/store-wide/can-i-crea...
One thing to note here would be that you will need to maintain and update the prices of all products, so if your vendor changes the price of a product you would need to update them as to not mislead your customers.
Again this is not how Shopify functions traditionally, but the method explained above would allow you to get close to what you are looking to do.

I was looking for this answer as well, as I am using Gelato to do print on demand, but also wanted a different vendor....and they shared this:
