I’m new here and as I’m trying to build my website, I’m trying a lot of things by following instructions I find online. Etc.
i wanted to put a banner for shipping on my website.
i followed instructions online and edited a code in order to put a banner.
sadly, I forgot how. I find the banner ugly and want to remove it. Even when I switch themes it’s still there. Does anybody know how I could remove the banner by editing the codes?
@Coco7You should be able to inspect your page code with the browser inspect tool to find a style class or id that you can reference.
Then in the theme editor - the same place you initially added the banner - you can open up the theme file and search for that reference. Remove the code associated and you should be good to go.
The fact that the banner is still there even when you switch themes makes me thing it might be a header image, or a logo you added somewhere.
Can you link your store for reference?
Please share your store URL and reference site URL.
So that I can check and let you know the exact solution for this.
