How do I remove the black overlay on the slideshow image in Brooklyn theme

Has anybody successfully disabled the dark overlay the Brooklyn theme automatically places over the slideshow? Can you please share how you have done it?

Hey there,

Yes you can easily remove it.

From your Shopify back-end, go to:

• Online Store >> Themes.
• Next to your theme name, click on "Customize".
• On next window, click "Slideshow" section.
• Select the slide where you don't want to display overlay.
• Decrease "Overlay opacity" to 0 and save!
