How to block bots from shopify?

Hello,

Our website is getting hammered with bot spam. It all originates from East Lansing and Dearborn.Thankfully, the bots aren't signing up or checking out, but their direct visits now comprise 50+% (!!!) of our daily traffic. This volume has destroyed the usefulness of our Shopify dashboard/metrics... thankfully, we can filter it out in Google Analytics.

What we're looking for is a way to block this bot spam. What is Shopify's official, recommended means of blocking bot spam, since we don't have access to server files (such as .htaccess) to do so ourselves?

My visitor is from Kanzas and there is no stop there. Minimal 50 times for one day.

In my opinion, you should contact the shopify administrator, because only administrators can access server files to help you block that boot spam.

https://docs.sucuri.net/website-firewall/configuration/working-with-shopify/

We are on Shopify Plus & where told the same thing

Fastly with PerimeterX can do it but Shopify will not let them unless your a top 50 store

I see that Sucuri is now offering a system they say works I will try it.

The fact they know the new IP's & Cname come with there own DNS that flatens shops.myshopify.com  to just IP's (so you can use it for the example.com & www.example.com + whatever else like subdomain.example.com & if it will not they give your money back)

("Change your Hosting IP to have the value shops.myshopify.com and delete any other Hosting IP your domain may have".)

& have been tested to work makes me feel they are the only choice ( they are good too)

FYI I tried to use My incapula account (no go same with fastly & cloudflare)

Because this stuff they offer is not a firewall
