Its a good place to learn and save your money from the web developer. I am a professional web and graphic designer. I am thinking to develop a website with shopify but I really don't know how it will.
Actually I don't want to hire a developer who will build a website for me. I am so interested to learn it for myself as I know it will help me a lot to do some changes in the back-end of my website.
Please share your view and tips to develop a website and how much total cost it would effect to my budget????
Hey Emily! Greg here from Shopify!
With Shopify- you start out with a basic template that you can build up and customize yourself. :) It doesn't cost anything to play around with the code (but you'll need to be on a Basic plan or higher to gain access to said code)
[Here is a great document](http://docs.shopify.com/manual) to help you with Shopify! It's a great searchable resource - sort of an instruction book to Shopify! It's full of design resources that are amazing when you get stuck- and the Design Forums found here: https://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-design are also another great avenue you can venture down.
To see a full breakdown of Shopify's plan and what we offer, head on over to the [Shopify Pricing page here.](http://www.shopify.com/pricing)
It really depends on what features you are looking for, and how best to implement them- but more times than none there's already a guide online that won't cost you anything. :)
