How to filter products from predictive search by product tags?

Hi all,

I'm trying to make a store's search bar only showing non-wholesale products from the predictive search results. I've looked at the APIs on predictive search but they didn't help as much. 

This screenshot is the store displaying the demo-product (it has a tag called 'wholesale') from predictive search
