I bought a domain but gets error that says "A store with that domain name already exists"

I cannot transfer primechick.com domain which i bought today. It says "

  • A store with that domain name already exists"

Please help - $14 was pay for that domain through shopify

 

My shopify store is

Nick here from Shopify. 

 

This seems very strange. Would you be able to share a screenshot showing proof that you purchased the domain exactly how you spelled it below, please? Generally, a domain would not be able to be purchased if it wasn't available. And just to confirm, you purchased the domain via Shopify? Also, you don't have multiple Shopify stores where this domain could have been assigned when you purchased it by any chance? It's difficult to figure out exactly what's going on here without seeing the stores or proof of purchase for the domain.

It was a free domain to buy i checked in godaddy and domains.com

This does seem quite odd. I think it might be best to move the conversation to a private email to investigate what's going on in more detail. It would require me to ask some verification questions hence, moving the conversation to email. Would that be ok? 

 

If it is, could you confirm if the best email to reach you on is the one you signed up to the community with? If it isn't could you let me know what is, please?
