Got an inventory question for the forum. Is there a way for different skus/products to share inventory stock quantity?
Widget A has 100 in stock.
Widget B and Widget C are a separate products and skus from A.
But if we sell 1 Widget B, Widget A's in stock qty goes down to 99.
If we sell 2 of Widget C, Widget A's stock is now 97.
Some sort of master container type setup?
There is an app that I would suggest for this, which is called Bundles. With this app, you can have the inventory from one parenting SKU be decreased when other SKUs are purchased.
It would typically be used when creating bundles or multipack type items, but, it would work well in your case too. I hope that helps!
Does this also work for MULTIPACKS of 1 and the same (original products)
So selling a 6pack or 12pack of the same at a special price, having its own SKU and EAN
Expert help appreciated
