I have been trying to upload my images for hours and every time it says image exceeded 20 Megapixels. The photos were taken on my iphone, converted to jpg, and put into photoshop. I want the end result to be a transparent background png. Could anyone tell me what im doing wrong or the exact pixels height, width, pixels per inch for my template so I can upload all of them? Please and thank you! For more context, I am trying to upload a picture of a shirt to my product images
We're over here (on page 3 of replies already).
Looks like it's a known issue and someone said "they're working on it"
Karlie here from the Shopify Guru Team! My apologies for the inconvenience that this issue may have caused. Our technical team have since shipped out a fix and the issue should now be resolved. If you are still experiencing the same problem, then be sure to double check the Shopify image guide, here, to make sure that your images are following Shopify's requirements.
However, if you have followed Shopify's image requirements and you still see the same error message - be sure to let me know. I will be happy to help!
I have been trying to upload a set of test products on our new store. However I keep getting the same error:
Validation failed: The pixel limit is 20 megapixels. Resize your image and upload it again.
All images are 2000 x 2000 px @ 72dpi and stored on our Azure server.
I have tried logging out and back in again as suggested in other posts.
I have tried a different browser.
Nothing is working, any suggestions?
Karlie here! Can you tell me what the file size is for each of those images that you're trying to upload?
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
