I want to migrate my customer from my ole ecom site(not shopify). When I test using import by CSV, i found the account status was "no account". So I tried to use "forget password" to reset as I planned to ask my existing customer to reset the password by themselves but system told me that the email was not found. The email was matched with my testing customer account. Can anyone tell me why? And is there any way to turn on the account and let my customer to reset the password by themselves? or can I generate a list of customer account activation link?
The issue you are facing might be due to your account being disabled on Shopify. You can follow this instruction: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/customers/customer-accounts#set-your-customer-account-preferences and check if that was the case or not and try again.
