After spending the last hour to gain access to the Shopify Catalog Manager, I'm having a problem connecting the correct catalog to Instagram. The Shop section on my Insta business page is an old catalog that is made up of all deleted products. When customers click the products they're taken to a 404 error page on my site because they are no longer available. I have changed the catalog to the newest, updated catalog countless times but the shop page will not update. This makes me unable to utilize the swipe up to shop products link on stories because the products are not available. I am, however able to tag/link products in photos with the correct catalog.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
Dear madisonwright,
Disconnect--> Delete Channel and then reconnect
I disconnected the Facebook and Instagram channels through Shopify 48+ hours ago and the outdated catalog is still visible in the Instagram shop section. Under the Instagram Business -> Shopping section the current Shopify Catalog from the Business Manager is selected and technically should be showing in the shop page, but it is not. At this point have no catalog in the shop section would be better than the one that is displaying but I can't get rid of it either.
Thanks for the suggestions so far!
