Hello! Has anyone used InfluxNova, a targeted traffic supplier?
Solved! Go to the solution
This is an accepted solution.
Its a scam. The sender uses 3 different names in the same email. at least the one I got did. Karlie, Carley and Carlee. haha.
I have included the email of the sender and the phone number they provided. Shopify, you should look into these guys...

General rule for me is: A gmail contact address for a company offering a service = SCAM
Just got an email from them. Never heard of them. Not much info on their website. Doesn't appear legit.
Thank you! They also emailed me. I tried to search for their website amd not much info in googe too.
Anybody else who has heard or used Influx Nova for generating traffic to their shopify store?
haven't heard from them just tried ro Google and theres no info I think is a scam. On that note anyone know of a legit company to help with ads?
Did you purchase a plan?
I thought I would try it out for a month to see what happens. All they are doing is sending bogus traffic for 30 secs to the home page. No sales.
Exactly! I tried to contact them. Only way to do so is by email. I've sent 4 email requesting to cancel and only got one very pre canned reply. If you want your money back just call your bank and charge back.
I've had sales from FB ads before and This is the answer they give you when the bots do not convert to sales:
Thanks for reaching out! Just finished checking your campaign. Our job is to deliver the traffic, your site's job or your job more exactly is to convert the visitors into buyers. While I can suggest an improvement or two, I'm not a CRO (Conversion rate optimization expert) so would not be able to give extended advice in that direction.
Please note that we're doing our best to target your niche, as per the requirements you provided during checkout. In 99.9% of the cases, you need to test your website over an extended period of time like weeks or even months before reaching to a conclusion.
Depending on how well is the website optimized for conversions, sales can be expected but not guaranteed since a lot of factors that contribute to conversions are not under our control. Some factors worth taking into consideration are:
- a slowly loading website. No one will wait a few seconds for the website to load
- poor copywriting that does not motivate the visitor to take action
- annoying popups that show up too early
- poor design style
- not enough call to action elements
etc etc
We're always doing our best to drive the traffic but ultimately it's your website that must do the sale. Most often than not, the reason why the visitors don't navigate further or take any kind of action and leave the website as soon as possible is a saturated landing page and one or more of the above reasons I just mentioned.
I have some customers that had xx.xxx number of visitors that went to their landing pages and not even one single interaction and I have some that get an interaction/sale per 50 visitors (more or less) which is very, very good. When there are no interactions, it means you need to do certain tests, split tests, A/B tests and so on in order to improve the conversion rate optimization as that plays a huge role in how the visitors interact with the landing page.
There are a lot of factors that come into play and you never know until you test each one of them individually as they range from page load time (That's right, it's a huge difference for the website to load in 3 seconds compared to 1 second) to call to action placements, copy quality, UI and UX and many other factors that at first might seem not that important but in fact they're vital.
If the landing page is not properly optimized and even worse than that, is saturated, no one will do anything on the website and usually 99% of the visitors will leave the website.
That's why you can see big websites like Facebook making different tweaks, changing the color of the buttons, the placement of the buttons, the color of the background etc for the same exact reason, to find the best conversions point that's aligned with the visitor's best interests so that they are able to retain them as much as possible on Facebook and make the visitors continue to use their services.
You can do a test with super high converting traffic from Facebook and you'll get the same results. Simply test and you'll see that I was right. I'm telling all this from experience as I have a lot of customers that I manage Facebook Ads campaigns for and on most cases, the first few thousand dollars spent are not yielding significant results unless they have a unique and/or out of the ordinary product that nobody else promoted before.
Kindly remember that I handle only the traffic part, I help you get the traffic, but in the end, your website must convince visitors to stay or interact with your website. This doesn't mean at all that the traffic is bad. It's always easy to blame it on others but remember that change always comes from within. Making no changes will result in visitors leaving your website as soon as possible and leaving you wondering what you're doing wrong and what the website is not converting as you'd want.
Hi would you be interested in doing some as
D work for me im green to this and will have some money soon that Ill use for some traffic and updating my site

@ToxikShirts I run a PPC agency based in the UK who specialise in growing e-commerce stores. We are called This Digital (thisdigital.co.uk) and I would love to share some information about how we could help if you would be interested?
Thanks,
Matt
Definitely spam. The emails usernames are completely random. I own/manage over 30 stores and every single one of them got an email from this company using a different random gmail account.
Just got email today lol 😂

Lol I got Carlie and Carleigh.
Email came from here:
knezevich73138@gmail.com
Such a scam. Yeah you get traffic, but then what? It's probably just a bot network.
Hi All
I got an e-mail from abington84017@gmail.com and guess what, the e-mail does not work when I replied.
SCAM, stay away.
If something is too good to be true, it most probably always is.
Also could not find any info elsewhere about them and that always is a red flag for me to investigate further.
This is indeed a scam. Had the same email, but with the names Hailey, Hayley and Haylee.
Avoid this and Shopify look into it.
Hello Guys,
I don't know if it is a scam but I bought a 30 days pack to get some traffic and it really sent to me the amount of traffic I paid for.
Therefore, I don't know if it is that well targeted because I didn't get any order yet (while I put some money on facebook ads, I have a much better conversion, I mean better than 0)
I was wondering if they could just send bots to generate traffic on the page ==> That would be an explanation for the 0 purchase.
Anyone can get you traffic, so don't go off that. There's no such thing as quick credible traffic. You will need to go through the whole 3 months of testing and perfecting etc with an agency/freelancer for them to truly know how to get the right people to you. It seems time consuming but if you don't do it, in 3 months you'll wish you had. I hate this as you need to have funds for them to play around and research your target audience for you etc, and it's frustrating. But in the end, what else can you do?
This is an accepted solution.

thanks, I also received this for brand Oasis Probiotics. Thanks for posting! You cannot even click on the links to all the magazines! SCAM for sure.
If anyone know of a different great SEO ad company, love that feedback
this address
sent me a similar email. deleted it along with all the other spam I get through my customer contact form. I don't suppose Shopify do anything about these sharks grazing on their customer base
Same message, even they doesn’t have their own domain server or email.
Thanks guys! Being new to shopify and trying my best to get a traffic, I almost fell into her email. I’m glad I opened it up here. Thanks again!
getting traffic is tough - that is why these scammers are here- they are selling false hope.
I got the same email and I took the bait. Daily Site Traffic has increased 5x with InfluxNova but sales have not increased. Before launch 90% of my traffic came mobile/tablet - under InfluxNova the majority is from desk tops. If sales don't tick up I will not renew.
Thank you! Please let us know if you ever get sales with them.
there are many ways to drive traffic using machines and bots. so its a scam.
I did try this package out 2 weeks ago. I have an established store for about 2 years and currently I was not running any marketing compaigns and felt it was a good time to test it out. They do drive traffic and "say" it's targeted but after seeing the results after two weeks it's nothing less then garbage. They seamt to be apart of a network that drives traffic to sites yet they are not buyers. My conversation rate was at a steady 2.4%. After using their service it's dropped to .03%. It's a scam.
Got an email from them now. I wrote back and told them the reason i would never use them is because they write from a gmail account. They also have a buttload of numbers in the email address. How stupid are these guys? Why don't they at least try to look legit and use their own url in their emails? I mean, they HAVE the domain....if i can do it, why can't they? They're so daft. I hope they read this.
Anyway, the email they gave me in their email is attached. They must read these comments as they fixed the Carley issue and the name is spelt the same in their email throughout.
These guys are idiots. They're scum and they need to be taken down. They're a WP site....I wonder if we all sign a petition, can we have them taken down?
They're a WP site....I wonder if we all sign a petition, can we have them taken down?
Petitions in general are inneffecitve wastes of time without a massive amount of people involved, even with a handful of signatures who would you even send it to? and why would they care?
If you have an actual legal grievance get a lawyer.
In other news anyone who does 1 second of research for that company will probably end up in this thread or similar.
Of course suspect businesses thrive on merchants that don't vet vendors /shrug.

True they are scam.
if you google influx nova reviews and move to trustpilot you’ll find only positive reviews BUT influx nova is another company legit...in other words they are trying to steal customers and scam them by confusing visitors.
I’m 110% sure that these type of info got leaked either from Shopify or their Shopify experts and probably this is one of their Shopify stores with 100K orders per month claiming gurus that know how to make money.
I took the decision to report this website - group to the official website of influxnova.co.uk because eventually not only it’s bad reputation for them but to save people from spending their money on scams.
join the cause!
I just received an email too. Anyone have success with any other companies?
I just got email from them too.
I searched for who they are and came up with this forum.
How we can stop these spam?
I would guess the only solution would be to report them to the FTC but most companies like this just create another one. I wish they had just one email, I would spam them.
