Instagram denied us for product tagging

Right... my products are all in a catalogue on FB, I have tried
uninstalling and installing all sales channels and apps, but still no joy.
I'm wondering if I should just set up a new IG account.

If denied should we duplicate our Shopify and then try again? I do not see an option to make charges and try again.

@drystoneshop  @floorsfinished  You don't have to create new accounts for shopify or instagram. 
Contact socialmedhia@gmail.com and they will get it approved for you. Speak with them to get free audit of your accounts.

Hey Everyone! 

I just wanted to post on here because I have been reading these threads and googling this information since around November when I was denied. I was finally approved and I was going to let people know how we got approved and what some issues were. First of all, I don't know if it's against policy to leave an outside link but I will post this one because it was very helpful in my process! https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/how-to-get-approved-instagram-shopping-product-tags/  Ended up this process didn't work but it did help me get my Shop set up correctly in terms of accepting payments. I did, however, follow the link and speak with a Facebook support member. She was very helpful and was able to tell me why she thought it got denied. She said it was because I had quotes on my posts and my posts were not just about the product I was selling. I went through all of my posts and deleted anything that was not related to just the product. She put in for the appeal process and it was approved by the end of the day! I understand the struggle so I wanted to put it out there how I finally got it approved! You do not need to set up a new Instagram account, that is bad information. 

You need to get your store ready for appeal and then have it appealed. I help people do this. https://growmeow.com/instagram-shopping

Hi,

 

I am trying to connect my Shopify store to Facebook so that I can set up Instagram shopping! However, it is not going well. Facebook is denying one of my products repeatedly. I tried deleting the product to get around this but there were still issues. I am not sure what to do and would be grateful for any help.

Hi,

I am having the same issue with instagram, they have allowed me to have a Facebook shop which is running fine but Instagram has regretted me, I am surprised as they are both the same company.

 

They sent an email with a link to appeal but it doesn’t work and I don’t even know what the reason for the appeal would be, why don’t they tell you straight away what the reason for rejection is instead of leaving me guessing.
