I’m Helen from Shopify Support. Thanks for your question.

At this time, Payfort is not a payment gateway that integrantes with the Shopify platform in your area. However, here is a list of the ones that are available to use in the UAE.

Once you’ve set up an account with your chosen payment provider, you will integrate it with your store through your Shopify admin by going to ‘Settings > Payment Providers’, and following the steps in our Help Doc for configuring a third-party payment provider.

Then, why is it mentioned in their website that they have partnered with Shopify? They are not present in any of the listed payment providers approved by Shopify. This has cost my company around four weeks of time approving and signing documents :(

I completely understand your frustration after all the efforts you have made to create your account with them. I would feel the same way too!

Therefore, your next step is to contact Payfort directly to determine how their product is intended to integrate with your Shopify store. 

Since there isn’t a built-in integration from the Shopify end, my best guess is that Payfort has an app, or some other customizations that they need to implement on your store in order to make their gateway accessible to your customers.

I enquired with Payfort and they replied saying that yes, they do have integration With Shopify using a 'ready made' plugin.

Hi Nathan,
We are currently in the proccess of setting it up and getting the Merchant
ID. The customer service is very helpful and prompt!
But I advise you to wait a bit before using Payfort because while on the
process of setting up Payfort, Shopify abruptly removed PayFort from the
list of payment providers. I am currently in talk with them with this
issue. Will update you when they get back to me
