Is there a way for receiving sms notifications when an order is placed

Hi,

I wanted to know whether there is a way for receiving order notifications to store owners mobile as a sms or text message rather than email notifications.I'm aware that mobile notifications can be received with shopify mobile app.But I need  a SMS notification to store owners mobile number

Any help or suggestions

There's no such info about the Shopify SMS notifications for the store owners but the feature can be enabled for customers. you can quickly refer to these docs -

Hyde here from Shopify. Great question!

As you correctly pointed out, it's possible to receive push notifications on your phone if you're using the Shopify app. Here's the help guide on how to do that.

Bear in mind that you can give your staff email notifications by going to Settings > Notifications in your admin:

Beyond that, there currently isn't really a means of receiving a text/SMS notification to your phone. However, I will be sure to pass on your feedback to our developers.

As a shop owner, I would like to be able to receive an SMS message when a customer places an order so that I can be completely sure I don't miss any orders.
