The 'Wishlist' is a standard piece of functionality that is readily available on almost every online commerce platform out there. It's a staple and a standard of the online buying experience, yet Shopify does not have a wishlist as part of its core platform. I think that this is a disgrace, and it's truly surprising that something so elementary isn't part of the platform. The app store has some shockingly bad implementations of a wishlist that are charged for our a monthly basis, so it appears that Shopify is keeping its platform 'dumb' so that others can fill in the gaps for profit.
It's sad to think that in launching my next venture, it's basic stuff like this that is ruling out an otherwise good platform. Please sort this out Shopify.
