I'm new to Shopify and I've run into a problem:
I'm selling limited edition t-shirts (say 100). I want customers to be able to choose any size they want, so I could end up selling 60 large and 40 medium shirts. No way of predicting this of course.
I have figured out how to limit inventory count on variants (I can set it to 30 L's, 30 M's, 40 S's for example), but this is not exactly what I'm looking for. I want to set the product inventory count to 100, and have the sizes be fluid (so that 60 L's and 40 M's could be sold)
Thank you for any help.

You can definitely set this up with an app like Simple Sync. The app will sync inventory across variants that have the same SKU - so you would be able to just enter the same SKU for each variant, and the app would sync them!
I hope this helps - feel free to follow up here with any further questions.
