Lots of talk about Facebook promotion but not Goggle Shopping. Why?

I use Goggle Shopping for my promotions but most people use Facebook. I prefer it because it is simple to use and I have got a lot of clicks even though no sales. Could someone explain more about Google shopping promotion strategies, from experience, that have proven to be better to get more sales?

Hi Odih,

From my personal experience, everyone has heard of Google Shopping. Anyone who googles a specific product sees the conspicuous little boxes with images, prices and vendors of this very product, similar to an online shop, next to or above the regular search results list. However, Google Shopping itself is not an online shop, but an advertising opportunity provided by the market-dominating search engine. And it goes without saying that ambitious shop owners take advantage of this offering to achieve higher click rates.

Hope you find this useful and good luck with your business!

Thanks. I took advantage of Google search to get higher click rates, a lot
of them, but did not have any sales. I 'may' have gotten sales if I had
put my campaigns in Facebook because of the specificity of audience
targeting in Facebook. This is missing in Google Shopping except when you
are doing re-marketing.

Comparing Google Shopping and Facebook which do you think a beginner should
use to achieve sales and having a better ROI?

Hi Odih,

That's a really good question! However, after working closely with clients
or trying to promote our products on Google for myself.

It occurred to me that running a promotion on Google does boost your
traffic dramatically. But it is really expensive and ineffective in terms
of sales.

Since you already mentioned about the target audience. I suggest you should
spend more time on those who want to buy from you and who's afford to buy
the products?

If you could answer those questions, I guarantee your marketing strategy
would be way better.

Best of luck with your business.

Thanks. I am going to try Google Shopping for some time and then restart Facebook and see which one is better for me. But I would continue to see how I create an audience for Google Shopping.
