Can loyalty points be connected with discounts on a new webshop?

Hey!
We are about to launch a new webshop for our ongoing service and looking for a webshop provider.
We have a loyalty program for our costumers, so they can get loyalty points during usage of our platform.

Is it a possibility with Shopify to connect the loyalty system and give discount/free products for our users based on the loyalty points they earned in our system?
