Multiple Warehouse Inventory

Hi Tom,

I can't push it live until it works so it won't be visible to you on the
front end. How can I share this with you? I could potentially put it on the
live site and hide it with display:none.... Any other ideas?

I won't be able to check it for 8 hours as I'm away from the office.

I've shared the link with your email. .

Could it be the theme causing the issue?

I've made modifications to the page. I hope I didn't take out a crucial
component that your app needs to update.

Hi Nhan,

We've posted an alternative approach to the locations problem here. Our approach uses automation to transfer the stock at each location data into metafields that can be themed however you like. No javascript involved, no polling, and the stock numbers are (nearly) real-time, but the setup is a bit more involved.

Hello,

I am wondering if you will be adding the functionality to not only see the multiple locations but also to buy from specific locations.  The scenario would be that the customer wants to buy from a specific location that is convenient to them, pay and pick up from that location.

Thank you!

Hi Mandy Chan,

I've been getting this request a few times now, but am not sure yet how this should work.

Will this mean I need to hide all products that are not available on the collection page?

I did add a feature recently to disable the add to cart button when the location closest to customer has no inventory, and am happy to see if this can be added.

Hi Thomas,

In our scenario, I think it would be good if we showed our customers during the check out, which products in their carts are from which locations.  And show them in a location "packing" group.  Then we could prompt them to choose under each location packing group to 'deliver' or 'pick up'.

I read in another thread about multipe locations, that they were only wanting to educate their customers on the delivery time.  So if they're order was from different locations, and they chose to delivery from all packing locations - they would understand that the deliveries may take longer.

I'm not a developer or a logisitcs specialist so this is all just a suggestion.  I'm sure there is more to this solution.

Best, Mandy
