My customer gets one shipping rate, I get another, what gives?

Hi There,

 

I had a customer from Germany write in to ask why his shipping rate was so high. I asked him to send me a picture of his shopping cart. His cart shows shipping at $61.13. We then loaded a cart with the same item and used his address to Germany and we get $22.33.

 

What gives?

Is the result the same if the customer used western characters to type the address, or you use germin(?cryllic?) characters? e.g. ß

Hey Kurtis.

 

I have some experience with troubleshooting this type of stuff.  If you like, I can send you a Partner Collab invite and take a look for you.  I will need the customers name or email to look up the abandoned cart, so i can compare them and see whats happening.
