New domain question

I have currently a primary domain that is linked to my online store that only offers local delivery. I recently bought a new domain name(with my shopify account) thinking I could start a new online store that would offer shipping nation wide. But the new domain name only redirects to the primary domain. If I want a new online store do I have to purchased a new account?

Ted here from Shopify, thanks for posting your query! 

If you would like the 2nd domain to point to a new online store, you would indeed need to create a new account here. You can offer both local pick-up and worldwide/nationwide shipment options using the one account though. Is there a particular reason that you would like to create a new store for online shipping? Have you just started setting up the account?
