No line breaks in embedded product description

Hi Everyone! When I embed a buy button with a description on my wordpress website, the <br /> tags which show up in the shopify text editor for the product get stripped out. I'd really like to be able to have some line breaks in those descriptions. Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm also having this issue. I don't know if responding to an old thread puts it back at the top of anyone's radar, but if anyone had an answer for this, I'd appreciate it. @KetanKumar I'm tagging you bc you seemed to have a lot of helpful answers on a similar thread.
