Non-physical product in my store, cannot find the button to disable "shipping calculated at..."

Hi Community

 

I have a non-physical product on my store.   Wher this product is listed on the store it says "shipping will be calculated at check out".  This is incorrect.

 

I cannot find the button for shipping at the bottom of the product listing to untick "this is a physical product" to disable "shipping calculated at check-out" for this item. 

 

How do I resolve this?  Your help will be appreciated.

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit Language

Search your message in filter

Hi,

 

Best solution for this is to assign a tag to that product and then a bit of code using the {% if %} statement would help this. So if product tag equals 'no shipping' Then we wont display shipping but then any other product will display...

 

Need any help with this give me a message.

Using the requires_shipping property of a variant might be a better route than adding tags to non physical items:-

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/digital-service-product

On the cart page the cart.items objects have the requires_shipping property which is true for physical products.

On product pages the variant object also has this property.

Hi Tom

I have set up my non physical products and I understand that I need to set up a tag to say no shipping but where do I put the code you mentioned? I am also using an app to manage shipping/delivery and pick up would it need to be in the app that this is managed?
