Not seeing payments in Bank Account

Hello,

On my dashboard while it says that payouts have been made, I'm not able to actually see the payments in my bank account. This has caused some serious late prints.
What is the name under which Shopify makes bank payments? Can someone please help me with this? There is some sensitive information that I need to share with Shopify Support.

Hello, @RollingCalf!

Karlie here from the Shopify Support Team! In your banking statement, your payout should be listed under the name "SHOPIFY," "shopify. com," or "Shopify Payments." The word 'Shopify' will be listed in the descriptor. Shopify will also send you an email to let you know that your payouts are being deposited in your account. The email is sent to which ever email address you have listed in your Shopify Admin > Settings > General > Account email field. 

If your payouts are showing a "paid" status then that means that the funds have been sent to your bank, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the funds have been deposited into your bank account. When Shopify sends funds, each banking company has their own processing times - it can sometimes take a few business days for the bank to process the money and for the money to be actually deposited into your account. If you're still not seeing your payout funds deposited into your account after a few business days, then I would recommend reaching out to your banking company to clarify.

I just want to make sure about this. I'm guessing this is an automated process so there's very little chance that something may have gone wrong? Is there any way to check?

Karlie here! You got it, it's automated - so everything should run smoothly. Has it been more than a few days since your payouts have been listed as "Paid?" If so, I would recommend double checking with your banking company.
