Why when I have PAUSED my store have I been charged a bill more than what my monthly subscription is? $49

Hi, @Paul1313

Great question! Hard to say without looking into the account; however, it is likely one of the two following scenarios: 

  1. If you received the invoice at the same time you paused your account, then this would be normal. The system will charge you for any pending charges (apps/shipping etc) before the account can be closed. 
  2. You were on the full pause plan for longer than three months. The "full" pause plan will automatically reactivate your store after 3 months. You will then be charged the subscription amount and any apps that are active in your store. The system will not charge you while the account is paused unless you selected the "Pause and Build plan." 

If you have access to your store, then you can view the invoice in Settings/Billing. If not, and you're unsure of what the charge is, then I'd be happy to verify the store to look into where the charge came from.
