Payout on hold on new account

Hi I have just launched a new Shopify store and I have been greeted with “can’t payout as account is under review” I haven’t even had a sale yet and worried as need to be paid out to purchase orders made. How long does this take as I have only just opened the store and seems as if this is using up my free trial days.

Hi, @Onsofas. Congratulations on launching your store! That’s very exciting!

 

Are you using Shopify Payments as your payment gateway? If so, every Shopify Payments account does go through a standard review which generally takes up to about 3 business days to complete. (However, this timeline can fluctuate slightly based on support demand and the requirements of the review).

 

I’d love to look further into the status of your Shopify Payments account review for you though. Where exactly are you seeing the notification? Is it requesting any additional information or documentation from you?
