Payouts on hold

hello!

i received an order on tuesday and today is friday and my payout isn’t in transit to my bank account. my settings are set on “the next business day” hold much longer will my payout say “pending” help.

Ted here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us!

If you view the order in your admin, and scroll down to the history of the order, you should be able to see the exact payout date that the payment has been added to. Here is an example of how that would look. Can you view this in your admin and let me know the payout date? 

As well, depending on your location, your pay period with Shopify Payments can take between 2-4 business days to complete. Your pay period refers to the amount of time between the day the customer places an order at the checkout and the day the funds from that order are sent to your bank account. As mentioned above, pay periods depend on you location but more info can be found in this guide if you would like to take a look.

The first order payout day was July 20th.

The second order payout day is July 29th.

The third order payout day is July 30th. 

 

It’s been more than enough time for me to receive the first payout but still no payout.

Thanks for letting me know! It seems as though you may have accidentally set up the payout schedule for monthly payments which is why the payout is scheduled for July. As you have mentioned that you have fixed the payments since then though, you should receive a new/closer payout date for these orders but it can take a few days for this to adjust in your admin. I'd recommend checking your order's history again to double-check the new pay period scheduled.
