Reviews seem to suggest it has limited customization. Whatever pickup solution you go with, you want to make sure it allows you to limit the radius or zip codes the options shows up for, otherwise you'll get tons of customers placing orders without realizing they are too far away and then cancelling. Here are some other pickup best practices to consider.

We've been all hands on deck helping merchants get set up with Curbside / Store Pickup over at ShipperHQ, and we have a 30 day free trial if you're interested.

I have just spent the last 30 mins reading through this thread from start to finish. This thread started 3 years ago!

I was hoping for a solution at its conclusion

Shopify, "click and collect" is a basic feature of an ecommerce platform and I can't believe in 2020 and considering the crisis we globally are going through, this hasn't been a priority.

I want a simple solution that provides a good user experience for our customers, where they can select "pickup in store", no shipping address required, no discount code.

B & M Retailers are facing a tough time of it (as is everyone), but Shopify need to support the people that pay their monthly fees, otherwise they may not have them.

Hi John,

I think you might have issues finding a solution that doesn't require a shipping address, as the customer inputting their shipping address is what tells the backend what locations are closest to them, or that they are even close enough to a location at all to offer them pickup.

Of course you could just always offer pickup regardless, but I think you'd find customers placing the order without realizing they are too far away to come pick up (sounds crazy, but it happens) and then you're dealing with cancellations and refunds.

If I can offer a solution, ShipperHQ is easy to get setup with store pickup, and we're offering free support for anyone that does need help getting store pickup going. There's a 30 day free trial, so you can get started and see how it's working for you and your customers.

Yes our experience too, we're trialling Zapiet but at $29 pcm it's expensive for a small shop , does anyone know of other apps that are cheaper?  I agree SHOPIFY should add this in to the shipping options for everyone, free local delivery and CLICK AND COLLECT

Hi there, not sure if you found my app in this thread, it also has a geolocation feature where the customer doesn’t need to enter any information to determine the closest pickup location.

The inventory per location is displayed on the product page to prevent customers from finding out the items are not available in the pickup location they want to us during checkout.

Optionally You can also disable the add to cart button if the customer is too far away

Let me know if this helps.

Looks great @Helper_Tools !

My issue is that users that go back in the cart have that product listed there. Can't it be removed every time the cart is loaded or it messes up the flow too much?

How do you hide/remove or add/show rates depending on the product?

EDIT:

After managing to install your app I think I understand. But somehow in your demo the other options go away. Maybe I only need some sleep to see it through.
