Hello,
I'm trying to setup Pinterest Catalogs. On Pinterest it tells me to:
Input your data source URL
-A data source URL is a link to the location from where Pinterest will be able to fetch your data source.
-This URL must begin with http://, https://, ftp://, or stfp://
-Select the file format (CSV, TSV, or XML)
Does anyone know how to create this URL? I one an rss for Facebook but and no clue how to do this for Pinterest.
Thanks!
-Rick
I can't even access Catalogs in Pinterest anymore, they've (once again) made more changes to their interface and have messed a bunch of stuff up like they always do. Really getting tired of these tech companies who just can't leave things alone.
But now every-time I click on Catalogs I get the following message.
"It looks like we are having trouble connecting.
Please check your internet connection and try again."
My personal recommendation is forget catalogs. Between Shopify and Pinterest who both seem bent on continually making meaningless design changes that always mess up some function, it will likely ultimately be more headache than it is worth.
I have zero luck with Pinterest support when it comes to anything. Which is why I suggest forgetting this. I've been unable to use the "Save From Site" feature for over a month. I've been going back a forth with them for weeks about that and they are totally daft. I send them detailed screenshots showing everything and the response I get back is "it's working on their end". Well I've tried multiple computers and browsers and it doesn't. Pinterest makes Shopify's support look 1st class. And if you are able to get it figured out, it will stop working in a month when Pinterest makes some other stupid design change.
