Print On Demand For Customer

Hello, all. I'm on the verge of opening my site but what I need is an app or some way to offer print on demand for customers. It's a pet product store, and I think what people would love is a way to get custom bedding with pictures of their dogs. All the POD apps I see allow me to print on demand, but I'm looking for a way that a customer can tell the POD service what to print directly from my site.

Hey @!

Cal here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us. It sounds like you are looking for one of our great product customization apps! Some of these apps even have a live view for your customers to preview their customization before purchasing.

- Product Personalizer: (http://bit.ly/2SscAsL)

- Product Options and Customizer (no live view): (http://bit.ly/2YaxxxH)

- Customify: (http://bit.ly/2Ygim5S)

- All the other options in our app store for this: (http://bit.ly/2XXkj3e)

You could reach out to any of the above app developers using the contact information on their app store page and query whether their integration would suit your business! How is the rest of the store preparation going? When are you launching?

Thank you! Product Personalizer is exactly what I was looking for. My store-making process is going well. I am going to use another app to add products directly to my store, so I can focus on marketing rather than finding products through Oberlo. I want to get this off the ground by next Friday (7 days), mostly to avoid analysis paralysis and to take the advice to "move fast and break things". After adding products and organizing them, I want to focus on mailing lists, wheel spins, and other ways to pull in prospective customers. Do you have any tips for that?

I would avoid adding too many marketing tools like popups and wheel spins initially. You can test the impact of their addition over time. Their impact on conversions is very hit and miss in my experience. I would focus on creating a mailing list signup that offers a nice little discount code or something similar. That is generally the most successful approach to discount marketing that I've seen. The Privy app (http://bit.ly/2LBnKeb) is probably the best solution I've seen for this sort of marketing strategy, although you can have a look at all our marketing apps here in case you want to have a look at all the offerings (http://bit.ly/2SvaSqA).
