Product related fields

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to add fields to a specific single product?

So for example, we are wanting to sell the following items and need certain information for each:

• Rental Bookings - Name, height, weight, boot size, date of arrival needed
• Season Pass - Name and date of birth needed

I dont want all fields visible to all products, just the ones it's needed for.

If not, is there like a plugin that can be used in conjunction with it to get the fields?

Currently, I have added custom fields, but this is present on every page. And we don't need to know people's birthdays for gift cards...

If someone can help that would be great thank you!

You can create a second product template to use for the one product that has those fields in it, and use the standard template for all the other products. You can use this document to help you through the process of setting that up!

you can always download a metafields app.

youll be able to create custom fields for public and/or private.

you can the use https://apps.shopify.com/specification-charts to display the public custom fields on the product pages.
