Is it possible to see where product images are stored/folder?
I managed to delete all my products. When I uploaded my backup (CSV file) only 10% of the images were found. Why? Why were not all photos deleted when I deleted the products?
Do you take backup of your product images? Do you save them to another server? How do you reload product images if you delete them? Are your CSV file (image Src) linked to anoter URL?

Happy to help in any way that I can here! When you imported your backup CSV, did it have image URLs in the image src column? Just to clarify a bit, Shopify itself doesn't backup your images or store your images on a backup server - the only place those images are stored would be in your Shopify Admin. Those images could be in your Settings > Files where they would have a corresponding URL that a CSV file could pull from. The best way to reload product images would be to add your images to the Files section in your Admin, then use the URL it's generated in your product CSV to import into your Admin. Our "Product CSV Importing and Exporting" guide can be super helpful when working with CSVs as well!
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions at all!
All the best,

2) Yes i have the URL for the pictures. But it does not help if they got deleted?

4) What does the numbers behind *.jpeg stand for?
When you delete a product from Shopify, the product images get deleted as well. This renders any CSV export pretty much useless, since when you import them again you'll see that they don't import properly (as you've found).
For this reason many Shopify owners use our backup app Rewind to ensure that all their data is saved. That way when products are deleted you can easily recover them, and their images.
BTW the number after the JPG is just a random string - it can be safely deleted, but doesn't affect whether or not the image can be found.
Sorry I haven't got better news for you.
You *may* be able to recover some data using Google by doing a search for the missing images:
You could also try doing a Google search and enter the URL of a product in it, and then choosing to view the "Cached" version of that page. Google may have a cache of the image on their servers.
We've helped a few people recover data that way - but mainly text / blog posts. I don't know for sure if Google will save images.
Best of luck. I'd recommend installing Rewind as soon as possible to make sure this doesn't happen to you again. Especially as you're doing work on your store now to rebuild your images. Rewind has a 7 day free trial, so it won't cost you anything for the first week.
Hi @Espen_Unaas1! For the question related to backing up product images – there is a tool called Mega Product Image Exporter that allows to export images for selected products, or just export images for all products in your store.
