I recently closed a store that was on trial, but I didn't remember to uninstall an app that I was trying out, the app is also on free trial, I contacted the app developer and they said its outside or their control and the app needs to be deleted from the store.
Is that how it i supposed to be? when I close a store, I assume any charges must follow unless I had any outstanding fees.
What can do to sort this out?
Thanks in advance,
Dani here from Shopify. Thanks for reaching out!
When you close your store, if you have any outstanding charges on your account you'll receive a final invoice. This final invoice will include any outstanding charges on your account such as app charges or shipping charges. Since the app was still in trial mode when you closed your store, you won't have any outstanding fees for a final invoice.
For curiosity's sake, was there a specific reason you wanted to close your store? If you're still interested, I'd be happy to see what we can do to remove the barriers to entry for you!
