Hi there,

On our product page it states tax included under the price: https://starmoonjewels.com/collections/necklaces/products/star-chain-necklace

How can I remove this? Also do you think its a bad idea if I do? In the UK, we dont put this, do other countries expect to see this?

Many thanks!

Hi

Just answered a similar question moments ago. Have a look in this thread and basically remove the bits you need. Of course, the solution may sbe slightly different depending on what theme yu are using. Your storefront looks like Debut theme, so I'd check in Themes > Actions > Edit code, open up Sections / product-template.liquid and around line 120 you should see this:

{%- if shop.taxes_included or shop.shipping_policy.body != blank -%}
  <div class="product__policies rte">
  {%- if shop.taxes_included -%}
    {{ 'products.product.include_taxes' | t }}
  {%- endif -%}

Just remove the last 3 lines.

Whether it's a good idea to do so or not is for someone else to judge ;-)

Hope that helps!

Hello Karl,

I am using Debut and I tried following your steps but I get 'changes could not be saved'. When I look at the code in those lines, it is a little bit different from the one you have posted here. Now, it seems like the additional line of code is injected from my integrated Langify app. But should it matter?

{%- if shop.taxes_included or shop.shipping_policy.body != blank -%}
<div class="product__policies rte">
{%- if shop.taxes_included -%}
{% comment %}ly_i18n_replace_for_[ 'products.product.include_taxes' | t ]_begin{% endcomment %}{% capture ly_template %}{{ 'products.product.include_taxes' | t }}{% endcapture %}{% include 'ly-static-string' with '15452581' %}{% if ly_translation %}{% assign escape_content = true %}{% assign ly_template = ly_translation %}{% else %}{% assign escape_content = false %}{% endif %}{% if escape_content %}{{ ly_template | escape}}{% else %}{{ ly_template }}{% endif %}{% comment %}ly_i18n_replace_end{% endcomment %}
{%- endif -%}

Karl,

Thank you for this. So useful!

Any idea where I would be able to make this edit for a featured product on my homepage?

Best,

Alex

Would you know how I would be able to edit the appearance of the "Tax included." on my product page? Like perhaps increase the font size of the text so it's more visible.

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

This might be late but I encountered the same problem as well, I'm using Narrative theme and tried searching for the same code on featured-product.liquid

Did the same step - removing the last 3 codes. It worked fine.

Hey guys, I'm new and non-technical! Any ideas how to make simple text amend here. The basic text seems to be pulling from somewhere. it's not in the code. Thanks!
