The integrated scale app is in development, I'll post any updates to this thread. Thanks for your interest.

In the meantime, if anyone already owns a label-printing scale that can print price-embedded barcodes, we are happy to share that we have released an app that can successfully scan these barcodes and insert the items into your Shopify POS cart: https://apps.shopify.com/scan-price-embedded-barcodes

@policenauts I'm interested in selling by weight and actually by Cubic Yard as well, Online and POS.  We are wanting to switch to Shopify's POS but trying to figure out how to keep up with inventory is a nightmare.  We hired a developer to build an incremental weight but like many have posted it's not Ideal.  We have a masonry/landscape supply company.  We sell Stone by weight and Sands and Soils by Yard.
