Shopify Lite – Change Product Handle / URL

Hey,

I have a shop setup for a client which uses the Shopify Lite plan and the Shopify Storefront API. They've created a product on the site but now need to change the handle / url as it is incorrect.

I had a search around and it seems like with Online Store's you can click the 'Edit SEO' button at the bottom of a product page and change it that way, but as we're using the Shopify Lite plan that option isn't available.

What's the best way to change the handle / url?

Hey

I sometimes have this issue (also on the shopify lite plan), the only way i know how to do it is to take an export of the product you want to change, rename the handle and them import it and delete the old one.

If anyone knows a better way i'd love to know too.
