I work for a non profit and want to set up an online store to sell second hand and new items. I'm trying to get Shopify payments set up and while the form allows for business type>non-profit, it doesn't accept our charitable tax number (a charity's business number). It keeps asking for a 9 digit number and our charity number is 13.
Are there any other Canadian charities out there that have run into this problem?
