I have temporarily paused my website - but I see that customer can still add items to the cart, it is only when they try to go to Checkout that the "Oops - something went wrong" page appears - can I customise this page with a message?

Unfortuantly not but why don't you instead of pausing it enable a password locked storefront and then you can edit that!?

Here's a bit more info for you:

Thank you for your response, Tom - much appreciated. We want people to be able to see our products and their prices - we just don't want them to be able to but. I think enabling a password page will prevent the store from being seen at all. I tried to hide prices and the cart using Shopify guide - but it didn't work. Could you help me to do that. This is my website: https://www.nzazz.nz/collections#edge

Hi Tom

Thank you again for your response. Yes - I want to hide the checkout button and cart button, that would be perfect.

I am OK with code and have done some basic edits to the code for our website. How complicated is it?

FIND THIS CODE IN CSS:

a.button, button, input[type="submit"], input[type="reset"], input[type="button"], .action_button, a.action_button, input.action_button[type="submit"], input.action_button[type="button"]

CHANGE THE DISPLAY TO:

display: none;

THEN FIND:

.nav ul li .cart-button,

and do the same:

display: none;

All should be found in your style.css file-sheet
