I have received another "Suspension Warning of Your Merchant Center Account" notification as they said during the review they couldn't find a Buy Button. Hmm, I have been receiving orders over the last few days, so buying from my website is not an issue. I requested a call back and the support person checked and said they couldn't access my site. I asked them where he was located and he said "India". I have a country blocker app activated on my site, as I want to discourage certain visitors from a number of countries to access my site. I am in Ireland and only sell in Ireland, all EU countries and the UK. I removed "India" from the block list, but I explained that I am a registered Irish company, and I do not want to sell to certain countries, neither do I want them to have access to it.
Has anyone else had this issue and was it eventually resolved with Google?
Thank you for any help offered.
All users in the world, regardless of the location, must be able to access your website and see the same exact info that matches your data feed.
Any IP blocking is not allowed, any IP modifications on your website is also not allowed.
Quote: Submit a landing page that shows all key elements of your product, and ensure those details match what you submitted in your product data. These elements include title, description, image, price, currency, availability and a buy button. Title, description, and images don’t always need to be identical to the content in your product data, but they still should refer to the same product.
When you do IP changes, the details you submit no longer match the info on the website.
Hi @EmmanuelFlossie, thank you for your reply. I can't seem to read anywhere on the page of the link you sent me that all users in the world, regardless of the location should have access to my website. My country of sale has been set to Ireland and I added additional countries (EU countries and UK). The countries for Free Listings and Shopping Ads have been set to the same (Ireland, UK and EU countries). This is in line with what I offer on the website. Do you have any other information that supports you saying that country blockers can't be used?
Thanks for your help.
The quoted text in my previous message is what you are violated. There is no need for additional info as that is the policy you are violating.
