Uncombine accounts of the same owner

I manage multiple stores under the same owner and I need to have separate emails and password to login in each of them.

Basically I need to uncombine them to be able to access each store with a separate email and password even if they have the same owner.

How can I do it?

I'm Helen from Shopify Support. Great question!


To remove a store from single sign on (SSO), you need to create a staff account with the email address and password that you would like to use, and then transfer ownership of the store over to that account. This will set the new account as the Account Owner, and thus remove it from your SSO.
