Hi, for some reason I cannot upload a csv for my new store using image links from my Drop Box.

I have my images in the Drop Box public folders.

Has anyone experienced this/ found a solution?

Hi Clayton!

Victoria here from the Guru team! You will be able to use images hosted on DropBox for your CSV with Shopify. You are correct by placing them into the public folder. The next step is to make sure that you are copying the direct link rather than the link to the page with the photo on it. The direct link will end in JPG or .PNG etc.

You can confirm the correct link if you select it and it takes you to directly to your photo. If it takes you to a page with DropBox branding on it this is not the correct link.

Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions!

Hi Victoria,

Is this still possible given this 2017 update to dropbox?  If not, is there a workaround?  What's the best way to upload images from a CSV using dropbox in 2019?

Thanks

Can you answer the final question in this thread?

How do you link to the image in dropbox when the link does not end in "jpg"

What's the solution others are using for lots of images?
