Curious if others agree. I've noticed that if I send any kind of followup email to a customer that it saves a copy in the order history. But the automatic shipping notifications don't. I sure would love a copy of those too, because I'm never sure if the shipper tracking number is sent to the customer or not. Sure, I see it there in the shipping notification template. But... I guess I'm not very trusting. If those automatic messages include the tracking number then I've sent some customers two emails: the automatic one and a manual one.
Besides that, for audit purposes I think it would be a good idea to have one copy of all communications with the customer in the order history. Or am I too OCD?
