There is an "authentication required" popup to sign into my rss feeds (to which I have NOT subscribed) (and which I DON'T want) evertime I go to admin.... why?

Hm.. I can’t reproduce this at the moment. Can you give me a step by step explanation of the issue?

I go to my bookmark “the hroost,” click on it, and a popup comes up which says “Authentication required” with a typical IE popup box, within which is “enter username and possword for shopify feeds at (my address). I will post a screen shot at geocities.com/hryniukshroost/page5 within the next few minutes…

It does not happen in IE, only in firefox, (and yes, I did clear my cache and cookies…)
Sorry if I assumed it was an site upgrade/change issue (but was remembering the cart issue over the weekend..)

Got it today for the 1st time when I logged into my site. XP Pro and Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 2.0rc2 (my laptop)

Hmm do you guys use any accelerator extensions in firefox?

nope. Just checked it in Firefox 2.0 on the mac and its doing it as well. Isn’t doing it with Safari.

I tried:

1. Bookmark /admin/orders screen
2. Reopen firefox
3. Click bookmark

And didn’t get the authorize box in either firefox mac or windows. Do you have any extensions installed? I’m thinking that firefox might do some link prefetching with the RSS link or something evil like this.
