There are multiple methods and depends on what feed solution you are using.
1) If you are using a content API system, you need to check if that app has the ability to submit to multiple countries.
2) If you are using an application or management system that submit csv or xml feeds, then you can go into Google Merchant Center > Feeds > click on your feed > settings and add the additional countries.
With 1 and 2, do expect lower advertising results. This is because Google will not give you all the potential impressions and only around 10%. As it favors local merchants over non local. So option 3 is the best
3) Create a new shopify account for the US and submit the feed directly using USD. This will give you maximum impression potential.
In my personal tests with clients over 5 years, I would never use option 1 and 2, it just does not work (as of writing, this may change if Google makes changes.)

Go into your Google Merchant Center and add another feed that has USA pricing and have the country targeting be the USA. Don't open a second store as this is expensive. We run a lot of ads for Canadian clients in the USA and we do it this way. When you login to Google Merchant Center click on Products > Feeds > click on your feed > settings and add the additional countries. Hi @DuaneBrown I followed your instructions to add a US feed to the Google Merchant Centre but the US feed contains no products.
My store is in Canadian dollars and I use Shopify's multiple currencies option.
I must be missing a step?
You say "This will get you up in running if you have a USA shopping feed ready to go." Does that mean I have to do something else to create a US feed?
That just added the container for your USA feed in Google Merchant Center. You still need a shopping feed that is USA based. Just like you have a Canadian feed with CAD, you need a USA based feed with USA pricing. However you are getting your Canadian feed into Google Merchant Center., you need that app or tool to build you a USA feed to make your container in Google Merchant Center has your USA shopping feed.
