I am interested in adding the "Easy Donation" app to our online store, which will allow customers to add donations to select charities at the point of sale. As I understand the process, the customer will add the donation at the point of sale, they will receive a donation receipt.
My store currently uses Shopify Capital and has an outstanding balance. For example, we remit 10% of daily sales to Shopify until the outstanding balance is settled.
Question: Will customer "donations" be considered part of the "daily sales" total? and if so, will Shopify Capital remit a percentage of the donation amount?
