Thanks for reaching out about this. When you add your custom domain, a new SSL certificate is automatically created. This process can take up to 48 hours but it sounds like it's been longer which tells us there are likely some settings that aren't quite correct.

 

To resolve the security error, make sure that your domain record settings are configured correctly. The most common issues with domain configurations are:

If you've made changes to your domain record settings so that they're configured correctly, then it can take up to 48 hours for those changes to take effect. If you still see the security error message after 48 hours, then let me know and we can authenticate you and take a closer look.

Hi,
Thanks for responding to me.

It doesn’t help.. it already here for 2 weeks. How can i edit it and point it to shopify? How do i know it is pointed to shopify?

Please help me out.. because it is still there..

I have checked with my domain provider and they said it is pointing to the
right record. I have two domains that keep interchanging when I type my
website URL in. Both the generic shopify one I created and the primary
domain I want to redirect. Both appear on the URL simultaneously. I have
selected a primary domain too.

after 2 week transfer the domain to shopify, the SSL still pending, could you solve it?

I'm in the lineup of folk waiting for the SSL pending sign to disappear. My domain provider has completed all of the steps and I have been waiting 4 days for resolution and unable to launch my store. Help!

The connection was successful but I am still in pending status in the status. The provider is listed

Hi, @PetalPop !

When you add your custom domain, a new SSL certificate is automatically created. This process can take up to 48 hours. During that time, you might see an error that reads SSL Unavailable in your Shopify admin and you might see a security error in your browser when you visit your online store.

It looks like the domain may have been in a pending state while the SSL certificates were provisioned or you were able to correctly adjust the DNS settings on your own as I am now able to access the website with full SSL security. If you're still having any trouble, don't hesitate to reach back out to me here.
